Eco mappers, The OpenStreetMap Community of Rwanda is a community of Mappers that aims to address the challenges of biodiversity loss, pollution, Open Geospatial Data Development and climate change through innovative solutions and advocacy. Since its establishment in 2016, OpenStreetMap Rwanda has been actively working towards creating environmental sustainability by leveraging the power of mapping technologies and engaging a diverse network of volunteers and partners.

Our vision is to cultivate a collaborative platform at the State of the Map event for Rwanda in 2024. OpenStreetMap enthusiasts from diverse sectors will converge to foster innovation and empower Rwanda's future by facilitating learning, interaction, and idea-sharing. We aspire to catalyze the development of resilient and sustainable solutions that address the evolving needs of Rwanda's communities.
